The GOPs War On Facts

Will someone please pull Rudy Guiliani's head out of his ass?!

Well, to be honest, it's not just him. It's the entire GOP pitching the most ridiculous of claims. They are honestly trying to convince people that the Republicans kept this country safe "since 9/11". Well, seeing as how 9/11 happened on their watch, I'm not really sure about that logic to begin with. But the latest talking point is a real head-scratcher.

Rudy Guiliani has been the latest "talking head conservative commentator" that is claiming that there were NO DOMESTIC TERROR ATTACKS since 9/11 on Bush's watch-- and the fact that the "Underwear Bomber" happened on Obama's watch means that the country is less safe.

Really? Let's count, shall we?

1. Anthrax Attacks in 2001 (five people dead)
2. Richard "Shoe Bomber" Reid in 2001
3. Hesham Mohamed Hadayet, El Al Airlines ticket counter shootings in 2002 (two killed, four wounded)
4. John Allen Muhammad, "DC Sniper" in 2002
5. Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar, University of North Carolina SUV attack in 2006

So this means that Republicans and GOP reps that use this "we kept America safe" argument are either lying, or just plain stupid.

The facts speak for themselves.
